Scope of Guarantee · 担保范围

When a tenant guaranteed by Ehome does not pay their share of the rent, or leaves damage beyond fair wear and tear that the deposit does not meet, Ehome pays the landlord under the guarantee, within the limits below. The guarantee is per tenant and runs for the term shown on the certificate.
当由 Ehome 担保的租客未支付其应付租金，或造成超出合理损耗且押金不足以抵扣的损坏时，Ehome 将在下列上限内向房东付款。担保以单个租客为单位，有效期以证书所示为准。

Rent Arrears Guarantee · 欠租担保

Covers the tenant's share of rent that falls due during the guarantee period and is not paid. The limit is a number of months of that share — the Guarantee Limit Calculator below shows the figure for your property.
适用于担保期内到期但未支付的租客分摊租金。上限为该分摊金额的若干个月——下方的担保上限计算器可显示您房产对应的数额。

Damage Guarantee · 损坏担保

Deposit first. Damage beyond fair wear and tear is settled from the tenancy deposit; the Damage Guarantee pays the balance, up to one month of the tenant's rent share. Cleaning, unpaid bills and wear and tear are not damage.
押金优先。超出合理损耗的损坏先由押金抵扣；损坏担保支付余额，上限为租客分摊月租的一个月。清洁费、未付账单及合理损耗不属于损坏。

It is not an insurance policy, it does not replace the tenancy deposit, and it does not change your obligations as a landlord. It is a guarantee given by Ehome, backed by a counter-guarantee from the tenant's family.
